Recovery is Important!

How much rest is enough? What is too much rest? Listening to your body is always the most important answer! If I am feeling just too tired, I rest or do an easy recovery workout. When training for a race I keep track of my resting heart rate daily. An increase in your resting heart rate can be a sign of over training and that my body isn't recovering. Some of my favorite recovery tools are Stretching, Sleep, Hydrate and Eat a clean diet! Here are a couple great articles about recovery!
